This win propels Fisher to a flawless 4-0, while the Shorewomen stumble to a 1-5 record.
How It Unfolded
The game kicked off with the Cardinals swiftly asserting their dominance, netting the first two goals and establishing a 2-0 lead a mere 1:37 into the match. The Shorewomen’s Tobin Chambers sliced through the initial momentum, scoring on a free position just 80 seconds later. However, St. John Fisher soon resumed their relentless attack, engineering a five-goal streak that ballooned their advantage to a staggering 7-1 with just 4:55 remaining in the opening quarter.
Despite a brief halt as Elisabeth Braswell halted the scoring onslaught with an impressive down goal at 3:21, the Cardinals answered back, netting three of the last four goals of the stanza to vault to a 10-3 lead at the end of the first.
As the second quarter rolled in, the Cardinals continued their offensive onslaught, securing three consecutive goals to stretch their lead to 15-5 by halftime. St. John Fisher maintained their grip on the game, edging Washington 4-3 in the third quarter, culminating in a commanding 19-8 lead heading into the final frame. Though the Shorewomen rallied in a spirited fourth quarter, outscoring the Cardinals 4-3, the gap was insurmountable, sealing the final score at 22-12.

Scoring: The indefatigable Mia Salvatierra emerged as a standout, racking up a game-high five goals, accompanied by three assists, tallying a personal-best eight points. Tobin Chambers added a commendable three goals to the tally.

In Goal: McKenna Seashole manned the net for 32 minutes and 20 seconds, recording four saves but conceding 15 goals. Maddy Kissinger took over for 27 minutes and 40 seconds, saving two and allowing seven goals to slip by.
- On the defensive front, MaryCate Anson shone brightly, leading with four draw controls and snagging three ground balls.
The Shorewomen executed 12 successful clears out of 13 attempts, converting nine of their 14 free position shots, while also gathering seven ground balls. In terms of offense, they managed 21 shots and seized 15 draw controls throughout the contest.
