The offerings include a groovy revue that will make you want to dance, a 1950s nostalgia trip, an inspiring Broadway story about self-discovery via the art of baking, a tap-dancing classic, a contemporary love story steeped in mystery, and a warm-hearted holiday extravaganza.
The first show kicking off this jubilant season is **8-Track: The Sounds of the Seventies in Concert**, set to rock the New Stage from January 23 to February 16. Dust off your platform shoes and get ready to boogie down as this vibrant musical revue takes you through a kaleidoscope of over 50 unforgettable tracks that defined the ‘70s! Revel in the soaring harmonies and intricate choreography featuring hits by musical luminaries like The Bee Gees, Marvin Gaye, KC and The Sunshine Band, and many more!
Next up, from April 10 to May 18, the beloved American classic **Grease** struts its way onto the stage. The tale continues with the summer romance between head “greaser” Danny and sweet Sandy, now navigating the highs and lows of high school life filled with teen angst, camaraderie, and of course, fabulous music! Dive into iconic hits like “Greased Lightnin’”, “You’re the One That I Want”, and many more that have transcended generations.
As summer approaches, Broadway Rose will enchant audiences with **Waitress**, a delightful tale running from June 26 to July 20 at the Deb Fennell Auditorium. Crafted with the soul-stirring music of Sara Bareilles, this pop musical introduces us to Jenna, a talented pie maker caught in a loveless marriage. As she dreams big amidst her daily grind, a baking contest presents a chance for escape and self-discovery. Explore themes of resilience, friendship, and the bittersweet journey towards reclaiming one’s identity.
Afterwards, revel in the vivacious rhythms of **Anything Goes**, performing from July 31 through August 17. With music by the legendary Cole Porter, this classic musical sets sail aboard the S.S.
